Club membership is £20 at the moment ( this has been the same for the past three years)
With your Club membership fee , students receive a karate suit and a certificate of membership.
After 4-6 weeks students are expected to acquire a JKA license, current fee is £25 and is renewable annualy.(please add £1 for stamp and envelope required).
JKA license allows the student to train and take gradings ( license records all your gradings), in addition if you have to move or are away on holiday, you can take your license with you and join or train at another JKA Club.
JKA ( Japan Karate Association) is a global organisation and you will find a Dojo in most parts of the world.
East London JKA club fees for training remain at £4 an hour for children under 14 and £5 for adults and children over 15.
Please remember that Licenses are checked periodically and it is the students responsibilty to make sure that their license is in date, renewals cost £20 plus £1 stamp and envelope duty, and should be handed to the club 4 weeks before the license runs out.(cash only as we are not able to take cheques).
