The East London JKA Karate Club is a martial arts club that trains at several locations throughout Barking & Dagenham and Newham boroughs in London.
Affiliated to the Japan Karate Association, “Keepers of Karate’s highest traditions”, the club aspires to make it’s mark in these boroughs with it’s own unique training programmes extracted from the strict JKA England syllabus.
Firmly established, the club has participated on several occasions at the annual All Grades National JKAE Championships , our students have achieved fantastic results, walking away with Medals for both Kata and Kumite.
The Club squad is selected from amongst the ranks of our students, they work extremely hard and have reaped the just rewards for their hard training and understanding of Karate-do, it is our aim that all our students achieve the best they can and become model citizens of our society.

The club is run by Chief Instructor Brian Williams, 3rd Dan JKA. As an instructor he uses his wealth of experience and resources to run classes for all ages 5-70 on Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays every week. He is helped by his team of instructors
