Brown & Black belt session

April 4th, 2014

UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE NOT HAD THE RESPONSE WE REQUIRE TO MAKE THE LESSON POSSIBLE, THIS WILL NOW GO ON HOLD UNTIL WE CAN ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF STUDENTS..Chief Instructor 16/5/14…

THE POST BELOW HAS BEEN ON THE WEBSITE FOR FIVE WEEKS NOW. IF WE DO NOT ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF STUDENTS , THIS OFFER WILL BE CANCELLED..WE WILL GIVE A DEADLINE OF MONDAY 12TH OF MAY 2014 … ( CHIEF INSTRUCTOR ).

Dear Senior grade students

It has been proposed that we set up a second lesson to cater solely for Brown & Black belt grades only..Lessons would be on a Saturday after the normal lesson and will last 55mins. Venue Newham Leisure Centre.

Whilst we are willing to set this up we need a list of students that will come forward, commit themselves and pay up front monthly, we need a minimum of eight students before this happens…

The longer we wait for you the longer it will take us to set up the lesson, those students interested please let me have your names ASAP..

Please note this lesson will not be for students who turn up on the day, only for those who have commited to attending regularly, the reason for this is so that we can have continuity in the training ie what we do one week we build on the following week thus ensuring that the student develop themselves with either Kata, Kihon, Kumite.

Do please pass this on  to students who do not regularly look at the website..

Kind Regards

Chief Instructor..

Robert Clack School Leisure Centre Grading

Thank you to all students who attended the training/Grading session on the 29th March .

Sensei Martin Dobson and Sensei Tony Cronk took everyone through their paces managing Kihon Basics, Kumite Sparring and Kata Form for all grades…in  the very short time space that we had.

Everyone will agree that this was an exceptional joint grading, due to the amount of students grading around 75 in total.

We apologise to all students and parents for the waiting period and because we had to split the grading and wait for all to get their licenses at the same time.

In the end we are glad to report that everything run smooth and everyone got what they deserved ..

A big well done to all East London JKA Club students 34 students took and passed their exam.Keeping our 100% pass rate intact.

We now have to keep working hard for the next one in four months time…

Well done everyone..

JKA Licenses

February 5th, 2014

Dear All

Please ensure all your licenses are in date as we have had to turn away a few students turning up to class with out of date licenses.

Licenses should be renewed 4 weeks before its out of date comes into effect..All renewals must be done on JKA England website,  East London JKA Karate Club does NOT renew students licenses…

All New Starters are required to fill in a JKA license form plus fee and hand in to your Instructor after three to four weeks of training at the Club, if you do not follow this procedure students will be stopped from training altogether…for renewals see above..  Please see your Instructor for a form.

New starters are asked to be aware of this and to tell us when your four weeks are up. Please note tha licenses are requested at all JKA Clubs and it is an Association procedure..

For all new starters over four weeks No license = No training

Thank you for your time and understanding..
