Congratulations to all our squad that represented the Club at the 10th Anniversary Cup competition.

The standard this year was phenomenal as we had to content with not only our own homegrown talent but also teams from Norway, Germany (Berlin), Ireland, Scotland. The results do not merit the effort put in by our students as they fought and displayed Katas with maturity beyond their years.

A huge thanks to our Head coach for assemblying the squad and putting them through their paces in preparation for this competiton and looking after them on the day. For all of us it is a good platform to build on and for the students a good way to help themselves to look at the standard that needs to be achieved in future years.

Thank you all for leaving such a good impression of the Club to all other Instructors and officials..

To those of you that did not participate for whatever reason I urge you all to try to emulate our squad and join , it is an experience that you will cherish for years to come…

Once more thank you all for your kind support and excellent sportsmanship.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ASHLEY RICHMOND

We are very happy to announce that Mr Ashley Richmond has succesfully passesd his Coaching Qualification at the recent International JKA England course in Crawley..

Ashley will now be incorporated to the pool of instructors at the Club…

We wish him all the best with his studies and teaching …

THIS WILL BE THE ONLY SQUAD PREPARATORY LESSON BEFORE THE COMPETITION,  WE WILL GO THROUGH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE NATIONALS..

There will be a cost of £2.50 for this session..

Lesson will run  in the afternoon as we have a visiting Instructor from 2pm to 5pm ..please check with instructors for your time slot..

Lesson will start at 11.30am and it will be in Studio 2 Upstairs NOT the sports hall..

Do please pass this on to other students…

Apologies as this is due to the Centre having a main activity and using all the sports hall, this is beyond our control.

It is with with great pleasure that we announce that our Club was the recipient of a  very special award from JKA England.

We have always strived to do our best for the Club and all the students, it is incredible that we have been rewarded for all our efforts these past years,the award signifies a personal journey for all of us,  maturity as a Club and an incredible base of students volunteers and Instructors, without whom the Club could not function..

Please note the following: 

Due to Club Class restructure we will no longer have a separate class for beginners at Harold Road on Thursdays.

Our Last Class will be on the 29th August after which all students will have to join the Monday Class 6.45pm to 7.45pm classes to start from the 2nd of September…

The class changes throughout the Club are to ensure our that the Club can meet all its financial responsibilities.

Though not as many as we would have hoped we  were treated to a superb Karate training session..Ohta sensei was excellent and we all came away with lots to practise and remember….

Ohta Sensei will be teaching at our humble Dojo on the 16th of August…

The training session will be at Becontree Heath Leisure Centre Althorne Way Dagenham RM10 7FH

Classes start at 6pm for beginners and 7pm for green belts
