Grading 2019

December 2nd, 2019

Well done everyone a fantastic Training/Grading session with Ohta Sensei. Our congratulations to all our students who graded and passed their examination, special mention to all the high grades who had a tough grading and who all passed.

Special mention to Arthur Bernabe who not only came from another Association, but had also stopped training a number of years and retook his 1st kyu with JKA.

Special mention also for one Marius Lapkauskas who double graded under Ohta sensei (not an easy task to do), he now joins an elite group of three students who have managed this feat in the last ten years (sensei Aaron did it last time in 2011).

Thank you to Mrs Maria Bastidas for setting out the Room, everyone will agree that the room looked smashing, the tea and biscuits were life savers.

Our thanks to all parents and friends for their support, patience and understanding.

Our end of year went extremely well with good participation from everyone, recognition to all students for their hard work and ethics throughout the year.

Congratulations to Sensei Aaron in becoming the new Chief Instructor at Stratford Karate Club we wish him well and give him all the support at the Club.

Congratulations to Sensei Brian on becoming the new Chief Instructor at East London JKA from May next year, as our current Chief Instructor announced that he will be retiring as Chief Instructor at the end of April and will take a more passive role of Chairman for the Club.

We wish sensei Brian all the best in this new role, he has the support of everyone at the Club, to guide it forward in the future .

Thank you everyone for your kind support and understanding.

Below results of this years Role of honour call Well done everyone.
